The dev board is built around the ESP-WROOM-32 module with a dual-core processor and integrated 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth, and the full 38 pin wide layout leaves plenty of GPIO free for sensors, displays, relays, and expansion modules. A USB Type-C port paired with a CP2102 USB-to-serial converter keeps power delivery steady and makes flashing and serial monitoring reliable.

The expansion board takes the dev board in a solder-free socket, so it simply drops in and every pin becomes reachable without a soldering iron or fragile breadboard jumpers. Its double-layer PCB carries a well-aligned 38 pin breakout on both sides for stable signal transmission and tidy wiring. Three separate power inputs, a DC barrel jack, Micro USB, and Type-C, let you power the stack whichever way suits the bench or the finished build. The socket also fits other common 38 pin boards including NodeMCU-32S, Lua, ESP-WROOM-32D and 32U, and ESP-WROVER modules.
