Quick Overview
The DIYables Micro SD TF Card Module is a compact 3.3V storage breakout that lets Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, and Raspberry Pi projects read and write files on a standard micro SD (TF) memory card. Each board measures roughly 17.9mm x 17.9mm and carries a spring loaded pop up card socket, so the card clicks in securely and releases with a light push.
The module talks to your microcontroller over a standard SPI bus. All six pins are broken out to a presoldered header and clearly marked on the silkscreen, so wiring up CS, SCK, MOSI, MISO, VCC, and GND takes only a handful of jumper wires and no soldering work. Because the board runs directly at 3.3V logic, it pairs naturally with ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, and other 3.3V boards, and it works with the common SD card libraries already bundled with the Arduino IDE and MicroPython.
Ideal for data loggers that record sensor readings over time, weather stations, GPS trackers, energy monitors, audio playback builds, configuration and firmware storage, and any project that needs far more storage than the microcontroller itself provides. Two modules are included, so you can keep one on the bench and one in a finished build.
